Elements in this movie from the thriller genre that I am using in my final task are the tracking shot and the establishing shot. Hello  viewers, I hope all is well.   Today, I will  be announcing  my final decision on the genre for my opening sequence. The genre I  decided to choose  was  thriller !  I believe it fits my pitch the most by making it suspenseful. I  wanted  my film to have a captivating opener that  would hook  the audience right away. I also wanted to create a tense atmosphere throughout the movie to keep the  person watching  on the edge of their seats. I will use elements of this genre to create an exciting and thrilling experience that  will keep  the audience guessing. For me,  thriller is  the most interesting genre.  There has never been a thriller movie that has failed to satisfy me in wanting more and keeping me guessing until the very end.  I can't wait to  begin  filming! Logging off!

Genre Research: Drama.

Hello! Here is the research I found on the drama genre. CAMS Some Cams that are commonly used in the drama genre are c lose-ups, over-the-shoulder, extreme close-up shots, and high angles. Close-ups are used to illuminate a subject and show emotion in the characters' faces. Over-the-shoulder shots have a similar effect as they show how the characters feel. Extreme close-up shots add suspense to a film, making it "dramatic." Lastly, high angles can make the characters look minuscule, highlighting the conflicts they encounter. CLAMPS Some clamps that are commonly used in the drama genre are h eavy and dramatic makeup. This style of makeup is often used in this genre, as it elucidates the drama portrayed. The settings typically used in this genre are generally bold and easy to see. However, the lighting is usually dark with some highlights on specific subjects to create focus on certain people or things. EDITING Some editing that is commonly used in the drama genre are f ade

Welcome! Let's get straight into it! CAMS Some Cams that are commonly used in the thriller genre are tracking, low angle, over-the shoulder shots, and point of view. Tracking shots are mainly used when a character is being followed or watched to build suspense. The low angle is often used to emphasize how powerful and intimidating a character may be. This is commonly seen with the antagonist of the film. The over-the-shoulder shot is usually seen around mirrors and reflections to build tension. Lastly, the point of view shot is for the audience to feel as if they are the actual character by seeing what the character sees. CLAMPS Some clamps that are commonly used in the thriller genre are low lighting, costumes, and a prop that is usually a weapon. Low lighting is often used in thriller films to create a suspenseful and mysterious mood and introduce fear into the audience. The costumes for this genre are mostly dark clothing to conceal a character's identity and casual clothing

Genre Research: Romance.

Hello everyone! Let's get straight into all the research I've found on the romance genre. CAMS Some Cams that are commonly used in the romance genre are close-ups, two-shots, and medium shots. The close-up conveys a character's emotions and is mostly seen when a character is heartbroken or in shock. The two shot is between two characters portraying how they feel about each other and is seen mainly with the two main leads. Lastly, the medium shot is used to show the character's body language and facial expressions when around others or in a certain situation. CLAMPS Some Clamps that are commonly used in the romance genre are flowers, used as a prop, and costumes. The use of flowers as a prop is widely used to symbolize a character's love for another character. It emphasizes their romantic feelings as gifting flowers is seen as a romantic gesture. Costumes are usually casual clothing because characters are mainly teenagers and are portrayed wearing casual clothes, suc

My Pitch.

Image
Hello viewers! Hope everyone is having a great day. Today, I'll be sharing my pitch with you all. Here we go! Pitch A : A young girl who has a hidden love for singing debates whether or not to join a national competition to pay for her mother's surgery with the prize money. Pitch B : After a girl starts living another girl's life, a stalker starts threatening to spill her dark secret.  As interesting as Pitch A appears to be, it would be more difficult for me to film. I would need multiple props such as trophies, which may be hard for me to obtain. I would also need to film in a hospital room for a scene, which could be challenging to get access for. Overall, this pitch would require extreme effort and be highly impossible for me to finish with my limited resources. This caused me to be less interested in doing this pitch. Pitch B piques my interest the most. It would take time to film and edit everything, but it would be possible to finish. The props required are easily ob

Going Solo: Who I'm Working With.

Image
Hello Viewers! Hope everyone is doing well. Today, I'll discuss the final task. For this project, I decided to work by myself. Although I enjoyed working with group mates, current personal family situations would make it difficult for me to collaborate with others. However, I'll take this project as a learning experience to see how much I can accomplish on my own! Working independently will allow me to develop and test my skills on another level. I believe that just as there are benefits when working in a group, there are also advantages when working alone. The main advantage of working by myself is that I can pursue my own vision without being governed by the opinions of others. This reduces the brainstorming process as I can keep my own ideas and let them flourish. While it is fun to share ideas within a group, there are other times when I solely want to focus on my own ideas. Working independently allows me to be more creative without being constrained by another person'

Hi there!

Welcome! all about me Hello viewers, my name is Kemora.  Here is a quick rundown. I live in hot weather in Florida. I am a sophomore student currently enrolled at Fort Lauderdale High School. I love traveling, but I haven't been to that many places, and I love animals and reading.   Let's begin! Initially, I had a strong passion for law, but this changed over the summer as I regained my pursuit of the arts. If I shared how I rediscovered my passion, I doubt anyone would believe me. Over the summer, I watched " High School Musical: The Musical: The Series ." Watching the show reignited my passion. The stories of how the characters realized their calling for acting and music made me feel like I was in the film, as if the story was my own. I aspire to make people feel the same way.  Since I was little, I have always dreamt of being an actress and even went to auditions. Unfortunately, my dream was cut short. Helping people has always been my specialty, and for
