The end and a new beginning.

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a closer look at what I did in this commercial. Initially, I had to search and learn how to use an editing software. The technology that I had to learn to use was Capcut. It wasn't as difficult as I predicted and I was surprised at how intuitive it was. I was able to figure it out quickly and was able to create and edit videos with ease. I am now confident in my video editing abilities and I am looking forward to creating even more content in the future. However, a difficulty I had was adding in the music, cutting it, and fading it in and out on perfect timing. Therefore, it took a while before it was exactly how I wanted it to sound. Here's what I've discovered about the steps involved in creating a project. It is crucial to meticulously plan and review each step while exercising patience to ensure accuracy. You may have to re-film a shot thousands of times before it's exactly as you imagined. On top of that, you may have to re-edit th

Hello viewers!  The time has finally come for you all to see the commercial.  I enjoyed this process and I hope you all enjoy this film.   Logging off!

Production Stage: Finishing Touches.

Hi viewers!  I hope everyone is enjoying their week.  This whole  commercial  has been a long progress but the time has finally come.  The only thing left now is the finishing touches.  I'm so excited to put  everything  together. Since I already had everything recorded the only thing left was putting together the slideshow, adding the text, inserting the music, and making the final project. Let's Go! I started with creating the format for where I wanted each clip. I wanted the scene with the camera to come before the transition to the "camera" which consisted of the slideshow. All the clips already had coloring so the only thing left was creating the slideshow.  The slideshow was pretty simple to make. I took 2 photos at a time and made them both take up a part of the clip. I made them Fade in and Fade out to create a sentimental effect. For the videos, I would crop them into a square shape with a filter to give an " old " theme.  The only thing left was to

Hi viewers!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  Last week was definitely my busiest as I was overloaded with work. I hope you all got a chance of peace compared to me. Let's get straight to it! It was a little difficult for me to film last week because I had multiple tests to study for. Over the weekend, I finally had some free time. To go more in detail about the filming, I filmed on my iPhone13. I was debating between filming on my Canon Camera or my iPhone, but since the camera was already a prop, I just went with filming on my phone. To be honest, The quality wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be. I really enjoy working with the Canon Camera, but I'm glad I decided to go with the iPhone. I was able to capture the moment perfectly and the quality of the video turned out great. I'm really proud everything turned out. As you already know, I pre-recorded some clips of the commercial, but over the weekend I finished recording all the other clips.  Everything was recorde

Hi viewers!  Welcome back. I hope you're enjoying your day so far. Here we go! Today, I started editing some of the previous clips I recorded. I wanted to give the scenes a warm feeling, so I played around with some filters until I found the perfect one. Once the filter was added, the scene looked perfect! The most difficult part of this whole process was figuring out where I wanted everything to be. Although I had a layout in the beginning, ideas change. For the most part, the idea of realizing self-worth remained the same. I re-arranged some of the clips I had previously recorded and now I'm onto planning when I'll finish recording the rest! I did some reselecting with my photos and videos. I chose 6 photos and 4 videos. They all range from when I was 4 to now, giving a sentimental feeling. The only scene I have filmed is when my character(me) grabs the camera and turns it on. Filming this scene wasn't too difficult besides the fact that my hand continued to shake wh

Hi viewers! I hope all is well.  Here's the update. I continued to plan further for the commercial. Initially, I only had one song, but now I have two. " Angel " by Halle and " I Can " by Chronixx. Angel fits the beginning of the commercial as the start of the song is filled with questions that everyone has answers to. For example, the lyrics " Do you still swim in your thoughts? Do you still mistake your flaws for property ?" Are lyrics that I think everyone can relate to. "I Can" by Chronixx is more of a cultural selection. As a Jamaican, I wanted the film to represent my roots. This song fulfills that desire as it is a reggae song. "I Can" fits the ending of the commercial as it shows the important stages of my life, setting the mood sentimentally. I made some slight changes to the arrangements I had previously made. I removed the 'All-About-Me' sheet and replaced it with a question. I started filming some scenes along

The Plan.

Hello, dear viewers!  I hope you are doing well.  In the third week of school, I finally got my first project. This first project is a commercial based on me and my life. I hope to do my best to test my abilities in film-making. There are some ideas that I have on making the film that I would like to share with you today.   Let's Begin! I was thinking about starting the film with an opening cut showing myself present. I would have an All-About-Me paper that I'm unable to fill out.  Then, switch to a cam record to give a "past" type effect. Also, I plan to include in the beginning me (my character) playing music and then cutting it off when she finds her old camera. Halle's recent song " Angel " is what I think best fits the scene and myself, setting the mood. After that, I plan to show some of the most important moments of my life, with some text to explain each scene, resuming the music. I think this format will be able to show my adventurous life mo

Welcome! all about me  Hello viewer, my name is Kemora.   Here is a quick rundown. I live in hot weather in Florida. I am a sophomore student currently enrolled in Fort Lauderdale High School. I love traveling, but I haven't been to that many places, and I love animals and reading.   Let's Begin! Initially, I had a strong passion for law, but this changed over the summer as I regained my pursuit of the arts. If I shared how I rediscovered my passion, I doubt anyone would believe me. Over the summer, I watched " High School Musical: The Musical: The Series ." Watching the show reignited my passion. The stories of how the characters realized their calling for acting and music made me feel like I was in the film, as if the story was my own. I aspire to make people feel the same way. Since I was little, I had always dreamt of being an actress and even went to auditions. Unfortunately, my dream was cut short. Helping people has always been my specialty, and for a while,
