Production Stage: On The Move.

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is having a good day. 

On Monday, the group finally started filming! The majority of the scenes intended to be filmed were situated around Mela's house. So, she decided that the group should go to her house after school to film pieces for the Music Video. The only issue was that I couldn't stay overnight, but that didn't hinder successful filming!

The main scene that I wanted to film was the car scene. In order to accomplish that, the group needed to borrow Mela's dad's car. I filmed most of it using my phone and used a tripod to keep the footage stable. I made sure to ensure that everyone was visible in the shot by adjusting the phone. I made sure to get all the shots needed before moving on to the next scene. The opening scene lasted for around 15 minutes.

After that scene the group and I walked to Galleria Mall and set up the tripod in H&M. I told the girls to act as if they were actually shopping for the scene. I got plenty of shots of the group in the store and moved to multiple other stores to get other shots. Then the group and I took a break for lunch before continuing with the project. After about an hour of shooting, the girls and I  moved on to do some shopping at other stores before moving on to the next scene. The next scene was in a living room, where Lindsay and I got a bunch of shots of the group watching a movie together. I was able to get some really good angles of the group interacting and enjoying the movie. I finished the day with a few more shots of the group before calling it a wrap.

Overall the filimg process was succesful. Although the group was unable to find an extra hand to help record, the tripod proved to be incredibly helpful.
