Time For The Hard Work.

Hello everyone!

I finally finished recording all the scenes! After scene two was completely filmed, I decided to go straight into editing. I ended up changing the storyboard and script. The original storyboard had Makayla checking her phone in scene one, which was a straightforward and traditional approach. However, the revised version uses a screen recording to add a modern twist and showcase the technology's capabilities. I believe this way it continues the theme of technology throughout the video. By using a screen recording, it showcases the modern ways in which we can share and view images, making it more relatable to our audience. Additionally, it adds a touch of creativity and uniqueness to the final product, setting it apart from other videos. I also ended up removing the part where Makayla gets a message with photos in scene three. It took up to much time and removing it didn't hinder the story.

Apart from this, I cropped and cut the scenes to fit together. Cropping and cutting in the editing process allowed me to create better storytelling and flow. By carefully selecting and arranging the best moments from each scene, I created a more engaging and cohesive final product. It also helped optimize the use of space and time, ensuring that every second of the video contributes to the overall narrative. This not only maximizes the impact of each scene but also optimizes the use of space and time, resulting in a more engaging and impactful final product. Additionally, finding the right balance and order for the scenes was crucial, as they needed to complement each other and contribute to the story being told. Another challenge was ensuring that each scene contributed something important to the story without becoming overwhelming or repetitive. Since Scene One was the beginning scene containing a lot of important information, it was the hardest scene to cut. While I wanted to include a lot, I also had to be mindful of my timeframe.

I also started to add the texts and titles required in the opening sequence. Adding texts and titles in the opening sequence was a pivotal step in setting the tone and providing essential context for the viewers. Each text overlay or title needed to be strategically placed to enhance comprehension without distracting from the visuals or dialogue. Choosing the right fonts, colors, and animations further contributed to the overall aesthetic and professionalism of the video. Moreover, ensuring consistency in style across all text elements helped maintain coherence and professionalism throughout the opening sequence. This involved creating templates for recurring text elements such as character introductions.

That's all for today, Thank you!
