Production: Changes.

 Welcome!

The middle of this week has been challenging.

Finding a new film date for this Saturday has been a big relief. It was necessary after a few scheduling conflicts came up. I was eager to get everything back on track. The group and I set up a call to discuss the project and make sure everyone was all on the same page. During the call, the conversation shifted to concerns about the film's timing. The script, while strong, seemed like it might run longer than anticipated. Everyone agreed that keeping the film within the time limit was essential. Cutting certain parts of the script wasn’t an easy decision. Every scene held value, but some adjustments were clearly needed. I voiced my thoughts on which sections could be shortened without losing the essence

The group and I discussed how some dialogue could be tightened up. There was also a debate about whether to cut an entire scene. One scene I decided to cut would be the intro scene with Jennifer and her friend. While it did have a comedic introduction to the film it was not essential to the development of the overall plot. It felt a bit sad to think about removing something I worked hard on, but I knew it was for the greater good. I proposed some alternatives to help keep the pacing smooth. The group agreed to revisit the final edit after this weekend's shoot. Although some compromises were made, everyone left the call feeling confident about the upcoming film day. I started making notes on the revised sections and prepared for the next steps.

The group and I feel optimistic that the final product will fit perfectly within the time limit. There’s a sense of excitement going into Saturday, knowing these changes will only make the film stronger.

That's all.
