Final Changes!

Hello everyone!

Hope all is well.

I decided to get to work based on my uncle's suggestions. In reaction to the feedback, I decided to re-edit the laptop scene by reducing the amount of zooming and cutting. The scene had to be edited carefully and it took me hours to get it to the point where I was satisfied. There were fewer quick cuts and close-ups, allowing a smoother and easier narrative. To reduce the amount of zooming and cutting I carefully analyzed each shot and identified areas where the narrative could be strengthened by maintaining a longer shot. I made a conscious effort to use smooth movements rather than quick cuts, allowing the audience to better absorb the sequence of events and grasp the storyline effortlessly. Additionally, I adjusted the editing pace by lengthening the pauses between shots and creating smoother transitions to maintain coherence and enhance the emotional impact of certain scenes. It was difficult for me to determine the appropriate speed to set the pace. I wanted to avoid setting the speed too slow or too fast. Finding the perfect speed that was neither too slow nor too fast was a challenge but I was able to find the right pace for the scene! This allowed for a better flow of the narrative and made it easier for the viewer to follow the sequence of events. The result of this was that the audience was able to enjoy a more enjoyable viewing experience.

The transformative impact of these revisions was noticeable. The laptop scene, once a disjointed segment, now seamlessly integrated into a larger narrative, thanks to the use of editing techniques. The feedback from my Uncle Junior proved invaluable in elevating the film to new heights of quality. It served as a guiding light, steering me towards a refined vision that resonated with audiences.

With each edit, the film inched closer to realizing its full potential. By reducing the amount of zooming and cutting in the laptop scene, the film became more coherent. This feedback served as a valuable tool for refining the film and ensuring that it met the highest standards of storytelling. Can't wait to share this film with you all soon!

That all!
