Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well.   Let's get right into it! Today I did some more editing on the Music Video. As I mentioned last blog, the video was not yet fully edited due to additional filming that needed to be done. From my previous editing, I went overtime by one minute. This is probably because I got carried away while editing and had too much fun. Because of this, I needed to cut some of the unnecessary scenes and focus more on the most important ones. Moreover, I needed to shorten the transitions between scenes as well. As a group, the girls and I decided to cut some scenes to keep the video within the time limit. So,  I suggested scenes to cut and then discussed what should be kept and what should be removed. The team debated whether or not certain scenes had to be cut out of the story to maintain the cohesion of the overall plot.   Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day. This week has been a little overwhelming due to the constant amount of assignments I had. However, I started some of the editing for the Music Video. Although the group had not yet finished shooting, I began editing anyway. The first step in this process was reviewing the footage. I put the collected footage into Capcut, my editing software, and meticulously organized, reviewed, and selected the best takes. The timeline began to take shape as I synchronized the music track with the video clips. I organized the video clips with each scene according to the storyboard. With the use of various effects, color grading, and transitions, I was able to create a cohesive narrative that flowed in harmony with the emotional arc of the music. Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day.  On Monday, the group finally started filming! The majority of the scenes intended to be filmed were situated around Mela's house. So, she decided that the group should go to her house after school to film pieces for the Music Video. The only issue was that I couldn't stay overnight, but that didn't hinder successful filming! The main scene that I wanted to film was the car scene. In order to accomplish that, the group needed to borrow Mela's dad's car. I filmed most of it using my phone and used a tripod to keep the footage stable. I made sure to ensure that everyone was visible in the shot by adjusting the phone. I made sure to get all the shots needed before moving on to the next scene. The opening scene lasted for around 15 minutes.   Hello Viewers! Today, we've encountered an unexpected obstacle that's preventing the group from filming – construction. My group had planned to film on Thursday (10/19/23) but the location chosen, Galleria Mall, was under construction. It was frustrating having to cancel filming but there was nothing I could do about it. The group considered to still go the mall regardless of the construction but the noise from the construction would make it impossible to record clear audio and scenes. Everyone was disappointed that things didn’t go as planned and that the shooting was postponed. Not only that, but the group would need to adapt the previous schedule to accommodate this delay. However, the construction situation serves as a valuable lesson in adaptability. This obstacle helped my professionalism shine as I adapted to the situation and re-planned the schedule for filming. Hello viewers! I hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Let’s dive right into the progress made for the Music Video. The main task I was in charge of was brainstorming ideas for the Music Video. Although the whole group was in this process, I took creating ideas to the next level to make sure that the message was clear.  It was an exciting and creative process that allowed me to dive into the world of visual storytelling.  I began the brainstorming session by listening to the song carefully, letting its lyrics and melody inspire me. I knew that I wanted the video to capture that same feeling. So, I came up with the best plot ever!  As ideas were thrown around, I started by visualizing key scenes that could complement the music. The group considered various settings and themes, like an abandoned lot, a forest, and more.
